Northern Stillness on kokemuspohjainen tutkimusmatka luonnon hiljaisuuteen, läsnäoloon ja pohjoisen tilan kokemukseen.
Hiljaisten maisemien, veden, valon ja yksittäisten muotojen kautta kuvat pysähtyvät hetkiin, joissa luonnossa voi vain olla läsnä.
Kuvaan pääasiassa Kuusamossa, mutta kuvia syntyy myös muualla Suomessa. Työskentely keskittyy vähemmän näyttäviin maisemiin ja enemmän tunnelmaan, rytmiin ja kokemukseen paikassa olemisesta.

Northern Stillness is an experience-based exploration of silence, presence and the feeling of northern space in nature.
Through quiet landscapes, water, light and solitary forms, the images pause in moments where one can simply be present in nature.
The work is photographed mainly in Kuusamo and elsewhere in Finland. Rather than focusing on dramatic scenery, the images move closer to atmosphere, rhythm and the experience of being within a place.
Northern Stillness moves between fine art photography and visual observation, shaped by silence, natural light and the northern landscape.
